Langley Secondary is having their “Dry” after-Grad on June 8th, 2012 and this year our grad class is over 250 students. The costs for this event are very high and we are asking for your help to cut those costs by way of donations for a couple of our fundraising events. We will be holding a Pub Night, Fashion Show and would like to run a year-long raffle, just to name a few. We are asking for your help by way of donations of all kinds of things to help make this years’ celebration the best ever at LSS.

The purpose of Dry Grad is to keep our kids safe while providing a fun and exciting event that they will remember for years to come. This year our Grads have chosen Castle Fun Park and River Rafting and while these things are fun for the students, they are costly to pull off. Please read through the items below and put your thinking caps on and maybe together we can come up with a bunch of great items that will help in the raising of the required funds.

Often times our own employers will be able to write something off for a great cause. Maybe your neighbor works for an electronics place or is employed by a big name store and has access to donations that would be greatly appreciated. Attached below is a letter from the Dry Grad Committee that you can print and take to your employer if they require one in order

to make a donation.

If you have ANYTHING to donate for this great cause, please contact Toni Burgess directly at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and she will arrange for pick up of your donations and make sure they get put to good use. Unsure if we can use what you have?? Contact Toni. Chances are, we can definitely use it. You can also include a business card with your donation and I will make sure it is included in the baskets with your donations…FREE advertising for you or the business making the donation!!
